The persistent pain made simple tasks challenging, and financial constraints prevented him from seeking specialized medical care. Ravi’s condition led to a reduced quality of life, as he was largely confined to his home and unable to participate fully in community activities.

On 18th July 2024, Ravi attended the Setu Foundation health camp organized at Amaltas Hospital. The camp, featuring six doctors and over ten volunteers, provided essential healthcare services to the local community. Ravi was one of the 60+ OPD patients who benefited from the camp. During his consultation, the medical team assessed his condition, prescribed medication, and recommended physiotherapy exercises. The free consultation and tailored treatment plan were critical in alleviating Ravi’s pain.

In the weeks following the camp, Ravi diligently followed the medical advice and exercise regimen provided by the doctors. His commitment to the treatment resulted in significant improvement in his mobility, allowing him to engage in activities he had previously avoided. Ravi’s successful recovery underscores the impact of Setu Foundation’s health camp, demonstrating how accessible medical care can transform lives and enhance the well-being of individuals in rural communities.

Contact Details:

Facebook: Setu Foundation

Additional Information:

Facilitator: Vibhor Chopra

Panchayat Name: Gagadi

Village: Gagadi, Rajasthan

Village Population: 2000
