**CTG is seeking to fill a Application Specialist - SAP Basis opening for our client in San Diego, CA.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 4 months **Duties:** + Responsible for **SAP Architecture** and **SAP HANA Deployment** , **Basis Administration/Security** , **OS/DB migrations** , and technical core competencies tasks including SAP applications, SAP HANA, and Oracle software installation and configuration, upgrade, applying Support Packages, and installation of add-on software components. + Experience with **private/public cloud-based SAP implementations** . Knowledge of **SSO** and **SAML** implementations. + Extensive hands-on business experience and understanding of business process requests. + Contributes towards system landscape strategy, including design, optimization, and realization of solutions such as high availability, disaster recovery, state-of-the-art proactive monitoring and error handling, SAP and Oracle database hardware, and data center migrations. + Responsible for maintaining **SAP - ECC, BW, SNC, PI, SLD, Portal, ChaRM, FIORI, GRC, MII-CAMS, Data services, Business Objects, and Solution Manager systems with dual stack and HANA and Oracle Database systems.** + Production support and daily operational activities related to the SAP environment including system refresh based on database-dependent or database-independent methods. + Participate in the internal specialist community, providing successful knowledge transfer on new/updated technology, processes, and own experience to less experienced or other professional **SAP Basis infrastructure staff.** + Maintaining interfaces to 3rd party technologies such as **BSI TaxFactory, Sabrix OneSource TAX, Adobe Forms, Tidal job scheduler** , and **other bolt-on applications** . **Skills:** + Expertise in SAP Basis administration, SAP HANA, and Oracle Database management. + Proficiency in SAP system landscape design, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions. + Strong experience with SAP cloud implementations and security protocols such as SSO and SAML. + Familiarity with 3rd party integrations including tax solutions, job schedulers, and document management tools. **Experience:** + Extensive experience in SAP Basis administration, including implementation, upgrades, and maintenance. + Hands-on experience in managing SAP landscapes, system performance optimization, and troubleshooting. + Experience with cloud-based SAP environments and system migrations. **Education:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. US Citizen required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00/hour to $100.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
