Type of Contract : Independent Contractor Agreement About the Company:  Our company client is a growing pharmaceutical/ biotech company developing innovative cancer treatments and surgical imaging drugs. Their lead therapy, CPI-003, targets rare cancers, while their imaging drug, ZW800-1, helps surgeons see tumors more clearly.
CURADEL PHARMA - SURGICAL INNOVATIONS
Key Responsibilities :
Design and Development :Â Create and develop biomedical equipment and
medical devices, integrating electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
Data Analysis : Perform data analysis on imaging data to support the
development and optimization of medical devices.
Software Development :Â Develop custom software solutions to enhance the
functionality and performance of biomedical devices.
Manufacturing Support :Â Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the
successful production of medical devices, adhering to industry standards and
regulations.
Technical Support :Â Provide technical support and training to healthcare
professionals on the use of biomedical equipment and systems.
Research and Innovation :Â Conduct research to innovate and improve existing
medical devices and develop new technologies.
Qualifications: Â *Education:Â Bachelors or Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
*Experience:Â Minimum of 5Â years of experience in biomedical engineering, with a
focus on electrical engineering, data analysis, imaging, and software
development. Preferable experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology
company.
Skills: ï· Proficiency in electrical or mechanical engineering principles.
ï· Advanced data analysis skills, particularly with imaging data.
ï· Experience with custom software development.
ï· Experience with CAD software for designing medical devices.
ï· Knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes and regulations.
ï· Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
ï· Excellent problem-solving skills for addressing problems in complex
biological systems

Additional Skills: (plus)ï· Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their application in
biomedical engineering.
ï· Knowledge of biocompatible materials and their use in medical
device design.
ï· Understanding of signal processing techniques for biomedical
applications.
ï· Experience with regulatory submissions and documentation for
medical devices (e.g., FDA, CE marking).
ï· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB,
or C++.
ï· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
