Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled  Certified School Safety Officer  to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of students, staff, and school facilities. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising and enforcing security protocols.
• Responding to emergencies and critical incidents.
• Building positive relationships and preventing conflicts.
• Conducting safety drills and training sessions.
• Preparing detailed reports and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

Required Licenses:

• Licenses:  D ,  G ,  DL ,  CCW .
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Required Certifications:

• Aaron Feis Guardian Safe School Officer Training Certificate .

Educational Requirements and Knowledge:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Training in law enforcement, military, or security fields.

Experience and Skills:

• A minimum of 3 years of combined experience  in:
  • Military, law enforcement, corrections, security, or emergency response (including first responders).
• Advanced proficiency in:
  • Firearms use and tactical training.
  • Emergency response systems and protocols (intermediate level).
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to undergo:
  • Drug testing as per s. 112.0455 regulations.
  • Psychological evaluation under Chapter 490 of the Department of Law Enforcement.
  • Comprehensive background check.
• Must be at least 21 years old .
• Must own personal equipment, including:
  • A duty firearm.
  • Tactical belt with a Level 3 retention holster.
  • A total of 5 magazines .

Salary Range:

• $24.00 - $26.00 per hour , depending on experience and

  qualifications
