CNC Operator Job Overview:
You would perform set up, operation, and programming of complex machined components for many different industries.
You'll be a great fit if:
* You are able to perform setups, edit and prove out programs
* You can operate CNC machine tools
* You can perform progressive machining operations to specs
* You are able to participate in and contribute to continuous improvement culture including lean initiatives
* You are able to maintain required quality and cleanliness standards
* You have a basic understanding of applicable machining techniques and understanding of control functions
* You are able to do repetitive machining work
* You can operate machine tools from written set up instructions and make offset adjustments to optimize part conformance to print (preferred skill)
* You have the ability to read blueprints at a basic level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation (preferred skill)
* You can run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell
* You enjoy mentoring or training operators on certain repetitive jobs
* You can perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* A Highschool diploma/CNC technical diploma preferred
* 5+ years of machining experience
* Proficiency in required measuring equipment for respective work performed
* Solid math skills
* A strong knowledge of blueprint reading including GD&T
* A clear understanding of feed and speed characteristics of specific types of metals and cutting tools
* A willingness to learn and grow

Wage: $22.00 - $26.00 DEPENDING ON EXPERENCE
