Job Title: High-End Crown & Bridge Dental Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crown & Bridge Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in all aspects of Crown & Bridge work, including ditching, metal finishing, waxing, and casting. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of dental anatomy and materials, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to discuss case details as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ditching: Perform precise ditching of dies to ensure accurate and clean margins, critical for the fabrication of superior restorations.
  • Metal Finishing: Skillfully finish metal substructures, ensuring they meet exacting standards for fit, function, and esthetics.
  • Waxing: Apply advanced waxing techniques to create precise anatomical forms and occlusal detail for crowns and bridges.
  • Casting: Demonstrate mastery in the casting process, ensuring accurate and high-quality castings for all metal substructures.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and verify the accuracy and quality of all restorations, maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  • Case Communication: Discuss case details with dentists and other clients over the phone, providing professional insights and recommendations as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve consistent and exceptional results, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Crown & Bridge Technician in a dental laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency in ditching, metal finishing, waxing, and casting.
  • In-depth understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality restorations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining high standards.
  • [Optional: CDT certification in Crown & Bridge is preferred but not required.]

Compensation:

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Total annual compensation: $60,000 - $150,000 .
