We use Ruby on Rails as our primary framework and are building a seamless, intuitive user experience for both our customers and internal stakeholders. Our team values high-quality, accessible, and maintainable front-end design—built with care and precision.
We're looking for a Front-End Developer to join our team—either as a freelancer or an employee. This role offers flexibility with options for remote work, hybrid arrangements, or working from our office in Antwerp. We do ask for in-person presence at our Antwerp office at least once every quarter.

Minimum of 3 years experience in front-end development.
Proficient in turning high-fidelity Figma designs into responsive, accessible HTML/CSS components.
Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails views and integration of front-end components into Rails applications.
Experience building and maintaining a reusable component library in Figma.
Ability to translate design systems into consistent, scalable front-end components.
Strong eye for design consistency and UX details.
Proficient with HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like SCSS), and responsive design techniques.
Familiar with Turbo, Stimulus, and how they work within the Rails ecosystem.
Comfortable working in a Rails environment, using ERB and partials to implement front-end logic.
Solid Git skills (branching, PR reviews, etc.).
Familiarity with front-end testing tools and techniques.
Understanding of browser compatibility and accessibility best practices.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, particularly with designers and back-end developers.
Detail-oriented with a focus on usability and user experience.
Self-driven and able to manage priorities in a flexible and fast-paced environment.
Location: Candidates must reside in Europe, within 1 hour of Central European Time (CET), to facilitate effective collaboration with the team.
Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility with remote, hybrid, or on-site options.
Experience with TailwindCSS.
Exposure to accessibility auditing tools.
Understanding of design tokens and how to apply them across design and code.
Familiarity with Rails front-end gems like ViewComponent or Lookbook
