Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Position Overview:

St. Wenceslaus Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Teacher Aide to join our team. This role primarily supports classroom teachers by assisting with instruction, organization, and student supervision. The Teacher Aide plays a vital part in creating a safe, supportive, and faith-filled learning environment for all students.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Work one-on-one or with small groups to reinforce instruction and support student learning
* Assist teachers with classroom organization, lesson preparation, and behavior management
* Supervise students during lunch, recess, church, in hallways, and on field trips
* Help with grading, recording academic data, and maintaining student records
* Contribute to classroom and hallway displays that support learning and engagement

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic knowledge of child development and school environments
* Organized, dependable, flexible, and positive
* Must pass a background check and complete Safe Environment Certification
* Experience working with children is preferred but not required
