Your Role
As an IBDP English Teacher, you’ll be more than a subject teacher — you’ll be a mentor, guide, and creative force in helping students navigate the complexities of literature, language, and identity.
You will:
- Teach IB English A: Language and Literature to students in the Diploma Programme (SL and HL)
- Support students in developing analytical, critical, and creative responses to a wide range of texts
- Guide learners through the Individual Oral, HL Essay, and Paper assessments with clarity and confidence
- Support Extended Essays (as supervisor, if applicable) and collaborate across IB core areas
- Engage in curriculum development, interdisciplinary projects, and co-curricular activities that bring learning to life
- Contribute to a school culture where inquiry, empathy, and expression are at the heart of all we do
What We’re Looking For
You are:
*A qualified teacher with a degree in English, Literature, or a closely related field
*Experienced in teaching senior-level English – ideally within the IB Diploma Programme (or equivalent international curriculum)
*Passionate about literature, language, and the transformative power of words
*Skilled at building strong, respectful relationships with students
*A great team player with a flexible, global outlook and a love of learning
Nice to Have:
- Prior IB training or experience in an IB World School
- Experience supporting Extended Essays or interdisciplinary units
- Creative flair in leading writing workshops, drama clubs, debate teams or student publications
- Experience in bilingual or international classrooms

Salary Range:
A salary CNY (Chinese Yuan Renminbi) per month based on experience and qualification, 10-25 % Tax is applied
