Leidos has an opening for a highly qualified Mission Package Integration Engineer for the Multi-Domain Solutions Division. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your experience to support across all-domain large-scale weapon systems, Information Technology Systems, and Command and Control Systems to realize the Department of Defense Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2). In this role you will support an Integrated Product Team (IPT) for the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Processing Node (PN) to design solutions that can be delivered at speed, scale, and with the necessary security to deliver operational advantages to the joint warfighter. ABMS is a top modernization priority for the Department of the Air Force and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across JADC2. This position will work closely with Program Managers, other domain engineers, and Government counterparts across Government and Industry partners.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and implement digital infrastructure solutions tailored to integrate mission packages within new and existing infrastructure systems, aligning with the role of an Application Integration Engineer.
Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans and workflows, specifically designed to optimize the integration of mission packages within the digital infrastructure landscape.
Assist in the testing and validation processes to ensure the functionality and compatibility of integrated solutions within the digital infrastructure framework.
Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting assistance throughout the integration and post-deployment phases to maintain the integrity and performance of digital infrastructure systems.
Collaborate closely with partners to leverage cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices, applying the expertise of an Application Integration Engineer to enhance digital infrastructure capabilities.
Document integration processes, configurations, and system changes comprehensively to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure accurate reference materials for future digital infrastructure initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
Experience software development and/or software integration experience
Experience integrating software in a Kubernetes containerized environment
Experience with modern Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) security solutions
Experience integrating software with Amazon Web Services (AWS) commercial cloud services
Experience with Command & Control (C2) or Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) software mission applications
US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Demonstrable knowledge of integration engineering concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.
Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities
Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with integration of applications with zero trust infrastructure
Experience with family of systems mission software applications
