Opportunity:

Houston Methodist, a nationally recognized, award-winning healthcare organization, is seeking a skilled Nephrologist to join the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Transplantation. This is a unique opportunity to work with the #1 Hospital System in TX (recognized by U.S. News & World Report ) providing high-quality patient care while engaging in clinical research and academic teaching. This position is located in the bustling world-renowned Texas Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide expert clinical care in all areas of nephrology and kidney transplantation.
• Provide the highest level of clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings including outpatient dialysis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care, contributing to innovative care delivery and clinical growth.
• Participate in education and mentorship of medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
• Engage in and contribute to the development of research initiatives within the Division.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the Division within Houston Methodist.

Qualifications :

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• BC/BE in Nephrology
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and procedural skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to academic excellence, teaching, and patient-centered care.
• TX license
