Imagine a role where you can shape the future of healthcare by delivering impactful training on cutting-edge systems. As a Principal Trainer II - Beaker, you'll be the go-to expert, guiding our staff through the intricacies of Epic Systems and ensuring they have the skills they need to excel.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design Engaging Learning Experiences: Craft dynamic and effective training materials, including workflow-based classes, eLearnings, job aids, and Learning Home Dashboards.
Build and Maintain Training Environments: Be the architect of our Epic training environment, ensuring it's up-to-date and ready for learners.
Empower Credentialed Trainers: Train and mentor our classroom trainers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
Collaborate and Connect: Work closely with operational stakeholders, subject matter experts, informatics, and analysts to ensure training aligns with real-world workflows.
Be an End-User Advocate: Gather feedback from end users and work with analysts to identify areas for system improvement.
Deliver Expert Training: Conduct training sessions for new staff, including Credentialed Trainers, and provide ongoing support to operational users.
Troubleshoot and Problem-Solve: Analyze, design, build, and test training environments, and resolve any application or technical issues that arise.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Coordinate training for new software releases and updates, and provide post-live support to new and existing users.
Keep Things Organized: Track multiple documents, attend meetings, and meet deadlines with ease.

What We're Looking For:
Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
Adult Learning Expertise: Knowledge of adult learning principles and teaching methodologies.
Healthcare Industry Insight: Expert knowledge of the healthcare industry.
Training Experience: Two+ years of experience designing and delivering software training curriculum for large healthcare systems preferred.
Epic Systems Experience: Prior experience in testing and training on Epic Systems preferred.
Project Management Skills: Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to build, test, and maintain training environments.
Communication Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills.
Epic Certification: Epic certification or proficiency is required within 6 months of employment.
