Asbury Courts, Supportive Living Facility is seeking a full-time positive, fun, outgoing, and energetic Receptionist to join our amazing team! Shift: 7am - 7 pm / Monday - Friday with alternating weekends. SUMMARY: Receives visitors, answers incoming telephone calls, and provides assistance for administrative staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves as receptionist for facility.
• Operates switchboard for incoming phone calls.
• Monitors front entrance door and front entrance door alarm.
• Sorts and distributes mail accordingly.
• Assists Administrative staff as needed.
• Performs other miscellaneous office duties, e.g. making copies, faxing, assembling packets and employee handbooks, typing, handling employment applications, etc.
• Insures orderly appearance of lobby on a daily basis.
• Assists visitors and volunteers in signing appropriate guest book.
• Monitors everyone who enters and leaves the building.
• Attends all mandatory in-services annually.
• Completes other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Previous office experience preferable.
• Organization skills a positive.
• Ability to relate well to the public, good customer skills and professional image.
• Ability to work independently in a busy environment with many interruptions.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Computer Skills * PC proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Physical Requirements Work requires the ability to lift/carry objects routinely as follows:

• Light Lifting: No lifting of objects weighing more than 15 pounds on a regular basis.
• Work requires the ability to stand up to two or more hours at a time.
• Work requires the ability to stoop, bend, reach and grab with arms and hands, manual dexterity,
