Job Summary

We’re seeking a highly creative and strategic social media marketing manager to grow our brands under Comcast’s Advertising division. Reporting to the Executive Director, Social Media & Marketing Operations on the Global Marketing team, the person in this role will oversee all facets of social media management: strategy, production, promotion, and measurement of organic and paid campaigns. In addition, this person will work with internal and external partners to implement influencer marketing strategies that align with overall marketing goals.

Job Description

  • Develop a strong understanding of our brands, products and services, and based on that learning, craft a social marketing strategy that engages clients, prospects, and partners through our social media suite of channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and X.

  • With the mindset of a journalist, curate, write, and edit long form and short form content on a variety of topics. Superior writing/editing/storytelling skills are required. Video production experience would be a strong asset.

  • Create a sense of “FOMO” by supporting our live events with Reels, live stories, and other social activations.

  • Negotiate and manage partnerships with influencer agencies and independent creators, ensuring clear expectations, brand safety, and positive outcomes.

  • Measure campaign performance and pivot strategies based on tracking KPIs in Sprinklr and presenting results with stakeholders at regular intervals.

  • Cultivate relationships with industry partners, stakeholders, and leaders to uncover opportunities for collaboration and cross-promotion.

  • Bring your big ideas to grow reach and engagement across all touchpoints using organic and paid tactics, including the administration of our award-winning employee social advocacy program.

  • Monitor audience engagement and manage our communities. Ideal candidates will have experience using content/social management tools commonly used across the industry.

  • As a social media expert, consult individuals, executives, and teams on social media best practices to support both individual and business goals.

  • An interest in keeping one step ahead of the pack by being knowledgeable on the latest innovations and advancements in digital marketing: the person in this role will be expected to try new things, take strategic risks, and approach the role with a fresh perspective and positive attitude.
