About the Role:

This is a remote contract position offering the chance to work with a diverse range of students. You'll have the opportunity to teach a variety of subjects and work with students who need extra support, including those with special education requirements. You'll be able to make a real impact on each student's learning experience while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or group virtual instruction to students.
Create a positive, engaging, and interactive learning environment.
Tailor lessons to meet individual student needs, focusing on questions and comments to guide learning.
Maintain flexibility in scheduling and teaching topics based on your availability and expertise.

Qualifications:

Experience in tutoring or teaching, especially in special education, is preferred.
Strong knowledge of accommodations and working with students with learning disabilities.
At least a Bachelor's degree.
Ability to make learning fun, interactive, and responsive to student needs.
Ability to pass a background check if required.

Additional Information:

This is a contract-based position, with the possibility for additional tutoring opportunities as they become available. Tutors are matched with students based on their subject strengths and teaching availability.
