The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for management of Supply Chain activities associated with all North America Gen Med External Manufacturing activities, including planning and ordering materials for production, confirming and ordering finished goods, managing inventory, and relationship management.

Main Responsibilities - To ensure a continuous supply of product that are produced at NA subcontractors while limiting inventory.
- To manage the CMO cost and overall relationship, this includes conducting Quality Business Reviews, monthly inventory reconciliation.
- Contract, relation and financial performance management of contract manufacturers (CMO) in close collaboration with Procurement
- Lead and support of projects for Gen Med External Manufacturing North America Portfolio.
- Plan and direct all activities involved with the assigned Supply Chain activities for Sanofi’s Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), applicable Sanofi Industrial sites and Country Affiliates as required for North American commercial products and Rest Of World (ROW) commercial products.
- As new products approach the stage of launch, the supply manager is responsible for all Supply Chain activities required to assure our capability to manufacture, launch and support the growth of these products.
- Ensure supply of the products within scope in time and in full required quantity: establish production plan, send order to suppliers, ensure delivery. Resolve any production difficulties such as prioritization, scheduling issues. Resolve and settle any contractual issues in conjunction with appropriate global purchasing representative.
- Support Global purchasing representative with negotiating new or renewal of contracts with supplier. Accountable for the reporting Supply Chain KPI’s. Assist managing Profit and Loss, project budgets and expenses for externally produced products.
About You - Earned Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus at least 3 years’ experience (5 preferred) in Supply Chain operations, manufacturing, and/or packaging
- Experience working in supply chain in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry highly preferred; including sterile products, medical devices (electronics and molding), bio-technology and technical project management.
- Knowledge of core system functionality (SAP and Kinaxis experience preferred)
- Expert collaborator and influencer with strong motivational skills.
- Industry experience in multiple aspects of Supply Chain planning and operations, including exposure to Lean and Class A capabilities is a plus.
- Experience in end-to-end business processes, including Master Data Management, Material Planning, and Supply Planning is preferred.
- Strong presentation, communications, influencing skills and motivational skills.
- Experience and ability to manage projects through complexity and ambiguity.
- Ability to align multiple stakeholders toward a common goal.
- Strategic agility, business acumen, process management.
