Job Description

• Location: Watertown, New York, 13601
• Shift: 12 hour VARYING shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Pay Rate: $2268 - $2412

Responsibilities:

• Perform general, vascular, and obstetric ultrasound examinations as directed by physicians.
• Ensure image quality and patient safety during diagnostic procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of major medical sonography equipment, including both hardware and software.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department.
• Follow department-specific protocols and comply with quality assurance guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
• Minimum 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience , with specific training and experience in Medical Sonography .
• Vascular and obstetric ultrasound experience is required.
• Registered or Registry Eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) .
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Department-specific training is required.

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Travel & Local Considerations:

• Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 60 miles.
