· Specialty hospital for medically complex patients
· Pulmonary and Vapotherm Center of Excellence
· Staff consists of all Registered Respiratory Therapist, 65% BSN or above RN’s, Current staff certifications include CCRN, PCCN, CNML, WCNC, NEA-BC, and RN-BC
· Onsite BSN completion program partnership with South University with staff discounted rate
· Simulation Lab and Clinical Transition Pilot Program
· Free prep courses for national certifications
· Robust atmosphere for Clinicals - partnerships with multiple nursing, pharmacy, therapy and respiratory schools.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer uses Ultrasound to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological and functional data to aid the physician in the diagnosis of disease and/or injury while maintaining the highest standard of patient care. 

The value you’ll bring to the team: 

· Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations.
· Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record, and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images.
· Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
· Analyses sonograms, synthesizes sonographic information and medical history, and communicates findings to the appropriate physician.
· Coordinates work schedule with Departmental Director and/or scheduling desk to assure workload coverage. 

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· High School Graduate, Satisfactory completion of approved medical sonography program
· Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in one discipline including Abdomen, OB/GYN, Small Parts, Breast or RVT or registry eligible with 12 months to become registered.
· BLS required.
