- Contract Duration: 12 months
- Worksite Location: Hartford, CT | Hybrid
- Compensation: $40.00-$50.00 per hour, W2 only
What you’ll do as the Print Production Manager: - Ensure the team adheres to critical production timelines
- Oversee the order and production process for customers, completing all necessary documentation, and fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency with vendors
- Manage relationships with printers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely production. Work with vendors to continuously improve production solutions
- Analyze costs and quality to drive efficiency and value
- Collaborate with vendors to create specifications for new components and negotiate favorable pricing
- Manage mock-ups, prototypes, and printer proofs with vendors to ensure quality standards are met
- Communicate supply chain issues to customers and coordinate effective solutions
- Obtain approvals for budgeting and forecasting, tracking actual costs against estimates
- Research vendor and technology advancements to foster innovation in production processes.
What you’ll bring to the Print Production Manager role: - Bachelor’s Degree or a high school diploma and 5+ years of experience in marketing, agency, publishing, printing, project management or supply chain management may be considered
- Proficient in the print production process, particularly for four-color publications
- Extensive knowledge of various papers, printing processes, and techniques
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to address challenges with creative solutions
- Strong analytical skills and computer literacy
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
- Ability to keep superiors and team members informed at all stages
- Skilled in managing multiple projects from concept to production, across various media
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
