**_Hiring for 2nd shift Medical Device Assembler_**
**Job Description**
+ This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices, primarily in a clean room environment.
+ The role involves the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, production of medical devices using a microscope, and operation of various equipment and machinery.
+ Shift: 2nd: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
+ Start times may be adjusted depending on the specific operations assigned. We do ask teammates to work overtime on weekdays and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) if needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications.
+ Follow manufacturing instructions and accurately update relevant job documentation for traceability.
+ Prepare products for packing and sterilization.
+ Inspect products using a microscope.
+ Ensure activities comply with GMPs.
+ Set up coating machines and perform coating processes.
+ Inspect and fold balloon catheters.
+ Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations.
+ Test formulations.
+ Package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods.
+ Identify supplies that need replenishment.
+ Build components needed for top-level work orders.
+ Complete required cleaning activities.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in English (medium level).
+ Willingness to work overtime and weekends.
+ Comfortable standing for the entire shift.
+ Experience with microscope inspection is preferred.
+ Familiarity with cleanroom/gowning and de-gowning processes.
+ 1+ year of experience in the medical device industry.
+ High School diploma or equivalent education.
**Work Environment**
+ This role primarily operates in a cleanroom environment.
+ Candidates must be comfortable standing for the entire shift and working with chemicals.
+ The work schedule includes two 30-minute breaks: one off-the-clock lunch break and one on-the-clock break, instead of two 10-minute breaks.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
